Camp 2024

Adventure Awaits: Summer of Exploration!

We are excited to announce that plans are underway for our Amazing Summer Camp 2024! This summer’s camp is designed for children finishing kindergarten through 5th grade, with a focus on science, art, swimming, outdoor play, games, and creative activities. If you’re new to our camp, feel free to contact us for more details. Returning families already know the exciting opportunities in store!

Highlights

Our summer camp offers a wide variety of activities to keep your child engaged, learning, and having fun. Here are just a few highlights:

  • Art Classes: Children will attend approximately six art classes throughout the summer, taught by a professional artist (tentatively, Lemm art teacher Mrs. Gaides).
  • KidoKinetics Program: A sports and enrichment program providing physical education and sports-based activities to keep your child active and engaged.
  • Build-A-Bear Event: Kids will have three chances to create and stuff their very own furry friends with this in-house event!
  • Daily Swimming at Forest Oaks: Campers will enjoy swimming Tuesday through Friday at the pool next door. All swimmers must pass a swim test. Non-swimmers will enjoy splash activities at the school 2-3 times per week.
  • Video Game Truck: We’re hosting at least three visits from a video game truck for some fun gaming time.
  • Kona Ice Truck & Special Snacks: Kids can cool down with multiple visits from the Kona Ice Truck, plus enjoy other special treats like ballpark nachos, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, and more!
  • Texas Snakes and More: We’re hosting two visits to give kids a hands-on experience with Texas snakes and wildlife.
Pre-Teen Program

Finishing 4th & 5th Grade

We offer a dedicated program for pre-teens, recognizing their unique needs as they transition toward middle school. Campers in this age group will have their own classroom and teacher, with the chance to participate in additional activities, including:

  • Mentoring younger children
  • Assisting with splash and other school activities
  • Earning points by completing tasks, which can be redeemed for special events

Swimming is highly encouraged for this group as it provides a great way to channel their energy!
